Hi, Currently, I am working in an IT company. I have a bond with that company, and now the main question is if the company has a project in which I am involved. A client from that project has approached me to work directly for him and leave the company. He is offering me a good package.

However, in the bond, there is a clause that I have read below: "The employee shall not, either during the course of employment or upon termination under any circumstances, add any personal contact details of the company's client or connect with the company's clients on any social media platform or otherwise."
I am concerned about potential legal issues if I were to leave the job. Will the bond still be valid even after quitting the job?

First of all, you should honor the terms of the bond and serve proper notice as per the terms and conditions of the bond.
Regarding your plan of joining the Client company
Have you analyzed their project scope in the longer run? The Client offering a good package shows their critical requirement for manpower resources for the ongoing project. You may not know what will happen after the end of the project.
So, exercise caution and make a prudent move. Your employer might proceed with legal action if you abscond and join the client's office.
