VRS compensation for PSUs under DHI method. If a person completes more than 30 years of service and balance service of more than 60 months of service, what would be the calculation. Please clarify on this matter with example

Any VRS compensation should be Income Tax rebate. So far my knowledge goes, there is guideline under ITAX and subject to maximum 5 lakhs is available as ITAX exemption if the scheme is as per guideline of ITAX.
Please discuss with your finance department specially those who are dealing with ITAX and act accordingly.
