Hello All
I am working in software company.Every week we have weekly meeting where each employee shares what work he/she has done in the last week.
After that we disucss issues if any one has.
We would like to improve the format of weekly meeting so that every body will be interested in it and every body will participate in it.
If you have suggestions on this kindly fwd to me

Some times weekely meeting people get boared, since there may be nothing to discuss. Nothing may happen in a weeks time that people will discuss taking interest. You can do these meeting on fortnightly basis on initial basis and then may be on a monthly basis so peoples interest will remain intact and they can contribute in much more +ve manner.

First of all don't call me Sir. Secondly let me know what kinds of meetings are these and who takes part in that? Its only a departmental meeting or combination of depts.?

Actually in our weekly meeting schedule is like following:
1.Every team member tells about his work in last week like tasks on which he has worked.
2.Then we have sesion from our GM.This session covers few points from top management.
3.Technical session schedule.In this session our team members share their technical knowledge or about new technology they have come acrossed.The day is other than weekly meeting day and not the weekly meeting day.The particular team member anounces when he is going to conduct the session and on which topic
4.Brainstroming session date and topic announcement.
5.Hr sessin: the info which team member should know.I am comducting these sessions
6.Then we discuss issues/suggestions received gtom team members
7.Last is the Apprecreation for last week work.
Every meeting is conducted by the different team member so that every will participate in the meeting
