I have a query, regarding PF modifications in my current organization we will deduct 12% on basic as a PF Component. But now we want to modify it as whoever basic is above 15000 PF will be 1800 as a fixed amount. Can we do that? If so what is the process kindly suggest?
You can restrict the employer contribution to the statutory limit, you have to inform the RPFC concerned. If you have trade union(s) functioning in your unit, you will have to take them into confidence, lest it becomes a major IR issue. So take care in implementing the process of change.
