Hi,

I am working as a Lecturer on a contractual appointment basis. I had my Agreement Bond Papers signed at the time of appointment and at every academic year renewal of service.

Somehow, I lost my copy of the Agreement Bond Papers, and the same is also not available with the other party.

How can I get a duplicate of the contractual employment agreement bond papers?

If you have lost your copy of the contractual employment agreement bond papers and the other party does not have a copy either, there are steps you can take to obtain a duplicate:

Contact the HR or Administration Department:
- Reach out to the HR or Administration department of the institution where you are employed. They should have a record of the contractual employment agreement bond papers and can provide you with a duplicate copy.

Request a Copy in Writing:
- Submit a written request to the HR or Administration department formally asking for a duplicate copy of the contractual employment agreement bond papers. Ensure your request includes your full name, employee ID (if applicable), and the period of employment covered by the agreement.

Follow Up:
- If there is a delay in receiving the duplicate copy, follow up with the HR or Administration department to expedite the process. It's essential to have a copy of your employment agreement for reference and legal purposes.

Legal Considerations:
- If there are any legal implications or concerns regarding the loss of the agreement bond papers, seek advice from a legal professional or consult relevant labor laws to understand your rights and obligations in such a situation.

By following these steps and maintaining communication with the HR or Administration department, you should be able to obtain a duplicate copy of your contractual employment agreement bond papers.
