Hi sir, I am running an engineering design company. I purchase the software license for 3 machines.
including AMC for up 2018. From 2019 to 2021 i will not renew the AMC. In 2022 I want interest to renewal AMC.
but software supplier said need to on 2019 to 2021 onwards AMC cost to pay then only you get the 2022 AMC. Yearly AMC for three software is nearly 11 lakh.
I need in 2019 to 2021 I can't get any support & any use in that AMC. Is any rule need to pay without using AMC benefits to paid money.
kindly give the advice how to face that software company. That company are very worst and threatening small-scale companies and need to purchase his software.

Incidentally, what stops you from buying a new software rather than paying for 3 years?
All things on this is not known to us, and you have not disclosed it either. We don't know the cost of the software, AMC or its importance. How will any external person give you the answer to this question then?
Anyway, you need to review the EULA that came with the software and to talk to a lawyer who can take up the matter in consumer court or file a unfair trade practice compliant.
