Hello Sir,

I have 4 years of on-and-off experience in sales. It's really frustrating for me to work in a sales department. My current CTC is 8 LPA. I want to switch my career to another field completely. What should I choose now? I am very much depressed. I am only working there for the money, so I should change my career path. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I do not know anything about C programming languages.

Thanks

How exactly do you expect someone to even suggest something when you are not giving any details of your self, your qualification, skills and what industry you have worked in

Sir, I joined NTTF (Nettur Technical Training Foundation) in 2017 as a GET. After that, I worked at Byjus for 9 months at 7 LPA, focusing on direct sales. I later shifted my role to post-sales, specifically handling customer retention through calls, and remained there for 3 months. I then transitioned to Vedantu Edutech sales at 7 LPA, where I worked for another 3 months. Following that, I moved to Extramarks with the same package for 7 days, then to Prystn Care for 7 days, and subsequently to LectureNotes Bhubaneswar for 6 months. I later worked at Unacademy for 8 months before joining Bikayi.

Sir, I am feeling completely frustrated with sales now. I am unsure about what to do next. I apologize for the incomplete information in my previous message. The salary package typically ranges from 7 to 8 lakhs maximum.

You have changed 6 jobs in 5 years. That is generally considered a bad thing by recruiters.

I am sorry to hear that it took you 6 years to figure out that you do not like sales as a career.

We do not know your educational qualifications or interests. I do not think anyone will be able to blindly tell you what you should do. You need to identify your interests and then figure out how you can get a job in that specific field. However, changing your field is not easy. Employers will prefer to have people with experience in their required field instead of someone with an interest that has no relevance to them.
