The ex-employee sends mail to management that HRD did not approve KYC in EPFO, if he takes any legal steps in COVID 19 situation, pls help me clarify this.

There are certain issues with regard to the EPFO Unified Portal; it is not at all user-friendly. But you will have to keep trying. Experience shows that better chances of logging in exist at odd hours in the night or during the weekly holidays. The employee has an option to approach the EPFO Grievance Cell, and they will follow up with you to resolve the matter. Then it will become serious.
