When transferring PF from one employer, the interest is not included for the period of work?

I changed my employer in 2018 and submitted my PF transfer on 27-Nov-2018. After multiple follow-ups finally it got credited to my account on 6th June 2020. The amount which I had with the previous employer was 29 lakhs. However, when the amount got transferred , there was no interest for 18 months. Please advice if any of you have experienced a similar issue.

EPFO maintains your balances.
If amount is incorrect, please take it up with EPFO.
Normally interest is credited at F/Y end and may be interest was not yet credited.
Kindly cross check your balances online and then accordingly take action.
