Daily wages is arrived by ( Monthly wage x 12 ) / 365. LOP in any month is determine by No. of days LOP x Daily wage. Gross salary will be ( Monthly salary - LOP ).

We consider actual working days excluding weekly off as the factor for calulating per day salary.
Eg. If a month has 30 days and 04 weekly off,then work days in month are 26,hence Monthly salay/ 26 days would be the per day salary.And if an employee is called for work on weekly off or on holiday,then it amounts to over time and it is required to be paid at the double the rate of per day value.
This allowas us to satisfy the stautory obligations correctly.

A very simple calculation states here that - If a person has worked for no. of days, that person should be paid as per his one day salary. To this consent, the person should get 16 days salary as he was present for 16 days. Also, it doesn't matter if the month is 30th or 31st as he was absent in the remaining days.
