According to our performance bonus scheme, employees must obtain a rating of 2 (using a five point rating scale) before they qualify for a bonus. I want to establish what performance rating threshold other companies use as a criterion to qualify for a performance bonus.

Performance bonus as the name itself indicates should be on the lines of productivity,wastage reduction,less non conformity of products/quality,team work, reporting,attendance etc.
You can decide upon these points as mostly these are the ones followed.
