I am 4 months pregnant, and my company is showing all signs of terminating me except that they haven't given me anything in writing. They have told me verbally that my performance is not up to mark, and they haven't done the PIP too. They haven't given anything in writing though and are asking me to resign. The HR is hesitant to give me a termination notice. How should I proceed?
Dear Madam,
Their game plan is obvious - to deprive you of your legal right of ML. Don't give in. Don't resign and stay put. Let them take any action. You follow the procedure under MB Act regarding intimation to the company regarding your pregnancy with a medical certificate. If they precipitate any action, the law is on your side.
