Sir/Madam,
Executive-HR at Inspectorate Griffith India Pvt. Ltd. (A Bureau Veritas Group Company)
We are a manpower sourcing company and recently we have obtained a work order to provide 60 workmen to a renowned bank in Bihar.
Under the said work order, we have total 30 sites in different districts of Bihar and in each sites we have more or less 5 employees.
Now my questions are,
1. Should we have to obtain license under Contract Labour Act (as the site-wise manpower is below than 20 but in totality it is above 20)? If Yes,
2. Should we have to obtain single license for 60 employees ? Or,
3. Should we have to obtain multiple licenses site-wise / district-wise ?
Your kind suggestion in this regard would be helpful.
Thanks & Regards,
Sudipta
