Subsistence Allowance should be calculated on the basis of gross salary last drawn prior to the date of suspension only. Of course, any allowance paid to defray certain expenses associated with job performance be excluded. Regarding the rate payable, please refer to your CSO/MSO or any special law in this regard in force in your State.
