One of my friend wanted to withdraw his PF amount through EPF member portal so he tried to acivate the UAN number, after entered all details he had received the pin number and entered the same in box but after clicking the verify button it was showing that UAN is already activated go to forgot password option and change the password then try like that. But when he tried to change the password through forgot password option it was showing UAN is not activated like that. So please advice me what to do for solving this problem?

when clicking forgot password, it will display a mobile number, if it is not of the employee then he has option to put his own mobile no, and verify his identity with name, and aadhar or pan details, then new mobile will get linked and password will be sent to new mobile
