Here in our company, the overtime beyond 48 hours of working is double. My query is whether overtime working on a national holiday is double or triple, considering normal overtime is double + working on a national holiday. Please clarify my doubt.

Dear friend,
There is no special overtime (OT) rate for working on a National Holiday. For working on a weekly off, a compensatory off should be given. For working extra hours exceeding 9 hours per day, OT is to be given at twice the rate.
In this case, you will be required to give one compensatory off + OT for 8 hours at twice the rate.
