My employer is deducting my EPF at a 12% rate of my basic for both the contributions as per the rules. However, I want to contribute more by opting for Voluntary Provident Fund. When I asked my employer for the same, the finance department said, "We do not have that provision of increasing your PF."

1) Can the employer deny like that for VPF?
2) Is there an offline process through which I can opt for Voluntary PF in my PF account?

VPF is possible only when the employer and employee both get agree on increased contribution, above 15000/- ceiling VPF does not remains attractive as the EPS and EDLI are having ceiling at 15000/-

Dear all,

I need a small help regarding VPF. In ECR, there is no option for VPF. We are already registered in EPF. Do we need to register separately for VPF?

Please provide me with the complete procedure for VPF filing. Also, kindly share any forms or registration documents for voluntary PF.
