I need to have a discussion as ,recently i have joined a start-up company as an HR-recruiter and generalist. But after one month of joining our boss merged our start-up group to a very well known publishers in market saying that it will a big opportunity for all of you. Before joining the merged organisation, he told me that your work profile will the same. But i am now only working in the profile of recruiter as all the work related to an HR-generalist is done by the operations and accounts as they do not have any HR in the past.
What should i do now as the recruitments are not always going on,it happens only when someone leaves or any new position is created. So what should i do now??Should i look for a new job or continue with it?I already have discussed this thing with my boss and he replied that go on working on the positions on which you are working. So, pls suggest me,what should i do now??

Continue working with sincerity and dedication.
Look around for a change of job.
If adequate work is not there for your profile, then chances are company may not keep the post at all and suddenly you would need to find another job (just a thought)
