If the company is ready to deploy you elsewhere where there is work, so also if your appointment is for fixed term which is expiring or if the appointment is coterminus with the duration of this contract, then there is no retrenchment. For retrenchment to apply you must have worked for at least 240 days in the previous 12 months.
