As a HR I would like to know that can a private organization (Hospital) tweak Maternity Leave in case of second child to fewer weeks as it hampers the work and it will also help in controlling the country’s population.
If it is covered by the Maternity Benefit Act, it cannot reduce the period of maternity leave(maternity benefit) admissible to a woman employee under the Act.it is mandatory.
