Hi guys,
I'm a bit confused whether I can share my client's name in a contract job posting on job portals. For example, "Immediate Requirement for Tech Mahindra, contract to hire...!?" Is there any criteria to be followed? Please help me understand.

Hi,
If you are not a direct employee of the organization for which you are hiring, you can mention the industry or organization level. For example: Telecom Industry, Big 4 organization, etc. You should not mention the client's name; it should be kept confidential. Once a person contacts you, at that time, you can disclose the client's name.
Thanks

Dear Vikram,
There is no hard and fast rule for it, but yes, you need to have approval from your client to go forward with it. If your contract with the client has such a clause, or if your client does not wish to have their name on the ad or post, then it's better not to proceed. However, if the client is okay with having their name included, then you can go ahead with it. Therefore, please consult with your client before making any further decisions.
