I would like to ask you for a help,
As we have created UAN for our employee and the same has been shared to our employee to go further for activation process.
During this activation process, our employee faced issue (an error saying that the member name doesn't match with the available data).
So could you please help me on this in solving the issue.

This is a much needed facility that has been instituted by EPFO.
As per EPFO, the complete set up has not yet been rolled out, they have intimated it will take some more time..
A screenshot of a mail I had sent to EPFO and their response is attached for reference.
Once it goes live, it will help resolve lots of such pending issues

Option of "DETAILS CHANGE REQUEST" is available in Employer interface of Unified Portal from to-day.
Now the EPFO dealing clerk will approve the same and there after RC 1 will approve the cases for DOB cases and changes will be effected.

We too had such cases in our organization. Just check the name provided under UAN, in your ECR challan returns. "Name as per UAN Repository"
Example --- some of the had -- MR. included in their names, full name mentioned instead of short name. Also will be of space b/w names.
