Hi All, Query : Are all diseases covered under ESIC ? My father in law diagnosed with Pneumonia with chest infection .
He was admitted in private hospital for 1 week.
Today, when we went to ESIC office for reimbursement . They denied by saying that ESIC doesn't give reimbursement for Pneumonia.
It is requested to kindly apprise me with this.

If he is covered under ESIC then why from day 1 he is not admitted to ESI tied up hospital? Ideally all the IPDs has to be done in ESI linked hospitals only.
