I have joined a new hospital. where I worked for 12 years was under MCI and this is private setup. They give 3 weekly offs and no gazetted. CL, Pl, SL i dont know coz theres no detail as its just one year old establishment. I know i need to speak to directors but this is too short time to ask for as i joined just one week back, so what should be my strategy to explain them legality of the issues. TIA

Hospital comes under shops act. Refer provision of leave under your state act which you are statutorily required to follow. Weekly off must be given after 6 days of working. This is per the MW Act.
