Can anyone give me a clear answer on what and how much percentage should be paid to a woman availing maternity leave? Please clarify what wages should be paid to her during her maternity leave and after maternity leave is complete.

You have to pay salary at full rate of wages. Query on wages after maternity leave needs to be elaborated so as one will give you correct reply.

Ideally, the Act states that the employer is liable for "payment of maternity benefit at the rate of the average daily wage for the period of her actual absence immediately preceding and including the day of her delivery and for the six weeks immediately following that day."
