Well, I worked in a IT company since 3 years and after resignation I served 3 months NP as I signed company policy of 3 months notice period and followed Exit process properly in the last day. Orally communicated that my rel letter and FFS will be done after one month. I started following up after 20 days requesting for rel letter and FFS settlement. After one day of my follow up mail they replied to come and collect all the documents but again they cancelled. Next again I followed up over phone they are telling they need 45 days for settlement but in the mail they mentioned that my FFS is on process and they will update me. But I already joined a new company with Resignation acceptance mail and promised that I will be providing rel letter after 45 days. But now my previous employer creating problem with me. During my resignation also they created problem. Already lot of police complaint had been launched against this employer by earlier employees.I am not sure how much time does it take for FFS Settlement. If asked anything response come as its is a company policy and not proving any particular date and time when I can collect rel letter. They use very harsh comment with employee. Please suggest me the way I can collect my reliving letter soon.

What are the ingredients of the F&F settlement? Though there is no specific time frame for full and final settlement, yet different components have certain time frame (e.g. gratuity is to be paid within a month from last date of service).
And what do you mean by lots of police complaint has been lodged against the employer? What are the nature of complaints? Even if such complaints were lodged, police does not have any power to interfere in the matter of employment disputes.
You may send a notice/ legal notice demanding all dues through registered post before taking any legal steps for recovery of the same.
