Prashanth Dev
Hello,
We are planning to convert our proprietorship firm into a private limited company. I wanted to know whether we can have the same esi and pf account what we already have for proprietorship? or we need to take a new registration. I consulted few CAs but got confused. Can anyone who is well known about these thing help me please?

Dear Prashanth,
There is no need for fresh registrations under ESIC or EPF. You can amend the same online and send request letters to RO ESIC. In EPF, now you can revise the information in form 5A (ownership details) and also send one hard copy to RO EPF for approval.
