Dear sir,
Please note that minimum bonus as per new notification is Rs.7000/- or minimum wage of the scheduled employment of the state concerned which is higher.
So, in this case it will be 6000/- only.

Dear Asit,
In any case It will not be less than 7000/- for calculating Bonus for particular month. It may be less only in that condition if the earning is less which is based on working days in particular month.
Thanks

Dear Sir,
As per new bonus rules if Basic is less than Rs 7000/- You have to calculate the bonus as assumed this basic is Rs 7000/-. it means if basic is Rs 6000/- than bonus calculation would be on 7000.
Please study the new bonus rules carefully.

Dear Mr.Santra,
The concept of min Bonus can be well understood from the contentions of both Mr. Rajesh Ku. Dubey and PDMATTA @ gmail.com. read together.
However to clarify, calculable rate of wage for bonus incase of sl no-1 is Rs.7345/- & incase of sl No.2 is Rs.7000/- for full attendance in the month.

It is seen that the interpretation given by Rajkumar Debey and two others is not so correct. Of course the ceiling for calculation of Bonus is fixed as Rs.7,000/- or the Minimum Wages for scheduled employment fixed by the Govt whichever is higher, it does not mean the wages taken for bonus calculation is Rs.7000/- as wages, even in the case of the wage or minimum wage is payable to employees is below Rs.7,000/- per month. U/s 10 of the Payment of Bonus Act says that "a minimum Bonus which shall be 8.33% of the salary or wage EARNED by the employee during the year" shall be taken care of while calculating the Bonus. Therefore, an employee is entitled to bonus payment only for the earned wages even in the case of the Minimum Wage for the scheduled employment fixed by the Govt. is less than Rs.7,000/-. Hope, my view is taken as correct one.

Mr SriDharan,
Please once again go through my post / suggestion which have clearly confirm that in accordance with notification and contents given there for considering the wages which are
the basis for calculation will not be less than 7000/- PM ( On Full Days Working if Monthly Paid)
It will be less only in case when the concerned person have worked less and its earning will also be reduced for particular wage month.
