Just need a confirmation about one reimbursement component. Is there any self-education kind of reimbursement for professional development? If there is, then what would be the maximum tax exemption limit for that?

Any reimbursement given by the company is exempt from tax in the hands of the employee. For the company, it would be a tax-exempt expense. It is important to clarify that the amount being paid by the company is a reimbursement and not an allowance. This means that it will be paid against the voucher with the support of the original bill from the institute where you are studying. The bill will be paid directly by the company to the institute.
