Developing Future Leaders : Role and Challenges for HR Professionals
This one is a serious issue that the world is facing.
All the good leaders have grown old and they will not be around for very long. This has posed a serious concern for the present generation as how to have "Effective" and "Influential" leaders.
What are we doing to "Develop" leaders for future?
In the corporate world, this should a Core Responsibility of a HR Team to "identify potential leaders" for future; train them; develop them and coach them, are they ready for this challenge?
In this regard, how effective are methodologies like Coaching and Mentoring? (At this moment, how many people are you coaching or mentoring?)
What according to you, should be the first five (and most important) qualities for a leader to be "effective" in 21st Century?
