And any specific reason(s) why you want to avoid the title AVP? Nothing wrong in this per se, but giving the reason(s) will enable the members to bear in mind those inputs before giving suggestions.

Thank you for the quick response.
AVP will be leading a software product or you can say he will be product head. Its nothing like that i dont want to avoid this title but just dont want to use the same as like others.
For now senior designations are Director, CEO, CTO.
One more question what is Business Head equivalent to ?

Your clarifications raise more queries than answering :-)
Pl elaborate on these points:
1] What's the present Total headcount of the Company...you said it's a Startup?
2] The role you mentioned seems to be more of a technical role.....like you said Product Head, which is more technical. Is that right?
3] Have you already identified any person for this position? If Yes, then the designation should commensurate with his/her experience level too.......just because he/she would be leading a project/product doesn't mean you should give him that designation. You COULD have issues later when you want to promote him/her. What's the designation you will give then?
Business Head is more responsible for the ENTIRE business vertical....including the P&L aspects. it would have less of technical content & more of business responsibilities.
Prima-facie, Project Manager OR GM-Projects should do OR IF you are into Products, then tag along the name of the Product with the designation to begin with.
