There is no provision in the TN Shops & Estt Act 1947 and the Rules 1948 for registration of any Shop or Commercial Estt in Tamil Nadu.

There is no provision in the Act or Rules for any registration of the Shop / Estt / Office in TN (copy attached) unlike in many States. No form / fees are prescribed and therefore there is no chance for anybody to register their Shops / Estt / Office.
