Dear Seniors,

I am working in the IT industry as an HR executive, and we have a total of 25 employees. Being a small firm, we do not have many defined company policies for our organization; thus, we do not have any specific benefits for employees or the organization. As we are in the month of appraisals, I have been asked to come up with a scheme that will benefit both employees and the company, such as a mediclaim and savings fund.

Regarding payroll, we do not have any deductions other than PT. I would appreciate it if you could kindly provide me with some advice on this matter.

Not directly connected but if you have 25 employees, you will be covered under PF. Please ensure you are not in violation of law

Besides statutory requirements like PF, ESIC, bonus, leave encashment, and gratuity, you can consider adding long-service award, employee of the month recognition, incentive schemes, advance scheme, mediclaim, life insurance, and food vouchers. Additionally, organizing a sports day and involving family members can also be beneficial.
