Respected Members,
I am working in the HR team of a medium size IT co.
We recently completed our PMS cycle for the last quarter and there have been a lot of promotions in almost all the teams.
Please suggest if it will be a good idea to publish the list of all promotions (along with the names of employees) on a common e-mail id of the organisation.
Though I feel that people who have been promoted should be acknowledged by everyone but others who have not been promoted might feel offended.
Please Suggest!
Regards

You must put up the list on the board, it is honor to display of the promotion list for the promoted employees,
see you cann't pleaseed all the time to all employees, it is like who desirves it thy get it. It shows company really appriciate of their good work.
now it all depend upon your mangnt or you, how you perceive it.

Hi,
You can inform all the employees thru e-mail, as Organisational Announcement, the promotions giving brief of the promotee about his date of joining the organisation, educational & technical qualifications and the new designation with department.
This can be an ongoing process for each & every promotion that take place from time to time.
I do not think that other employees should get offended by this act of management as promotions are not given to each employee.....
