The Labour Welfare Fund Act

The Labour Welfare Fund Act is applicable to factories and establishments covered under the Shops and Establishment Act employing 5 or more employees. It is a biannual practice, meaning that contributions are to be deducted from employees' salaries twice a year, in June and December.
