Hi Seniors,
I have question..Is it mandatory to maintain the register under Maternity Benefit Act but anyhow we are submitting the annual returns to the concern govt authorities under the same act for every year ending.
So please give me your valuable suggestions on the same and request you to please share the soft copy format of the registers if it is mandatory to maintain.

Dear Ram,
Please refer section 2 (b) wherein every employer which is registered under S&E act or any act in which ten or more persons are employed, or were employed, on any day of the preceding twelve months, the maternity register should be maintained. The register should be maintained in the hard copy format (the soft copy format enclosed just for your ready reference).

Hi, can any one help to understand the bonus during prenatal or postnatal is same the insurance amount she claimed or employer need to given some additional amount of Rs. 1000/-. Regards,
