Dear Mr. Vidhyanand , please let us understand the case completely.before reaching to the conclusion of OT payment, it is essential to know that , on next day which type of leave the said employees has availed.

Dear Vaidhyanath,
Overtime should be paid double on his wages / gross salary which means an employee works 4 hours in a day as a OT, he will be entitle to get 8 hours wages / gross salary towards Overtime payment.
For ex: an employee per day wages is of Rs. 400/-
He has worked 4 hours OT in a particular day, now he will get Rs. 400/- as an overtime excluding with his salary for that day.
I hope it’s clear.
Regards,
Janardan
