I have developed a payroll software (with ESI, PF and Factory Act calculations) which is 100% ready.
I am thinking of making it web based (online software).
Should I make it online software or keep it offline (cd installs on personal computer for each Customer) and sell it?
I want to know views of professionals, which version would be better and more useable?
I have provisions for database security on server and offline software would be sold on full price around 10-12 thousand and online software would be given access for per month usage for around Rs. 400-500 per month.
Which one would be better. Please help me solve this dilemma.

Online is always hassle free and easy to use. If you are marketing it to businesses, I think you should showcase online version and customize offline if they require it.
