Clarification on PF Form Submission Requirements

Is there any law that only the original copy of PF forms is accepted in the office for PF withdrawal? I have downloaded Form 10C and 19 from the internet, filled in all the details, and submitted them to the HR department about two months back.

The HR department now tells me that it is a government rule that you have to submit the original forms; xerox copies will not suffice. The forms have to be submitted to Vapi, Gujarat.

Please clear my doubt.

Thanks,

There is no provision from EPF to submit original PF forms. You just need to download Form 10C & 19 from the internet, fill in all the details, and submit them to the HR department. If the HR department does not consider your forms, please go to the regional EPF office and file a complaint against your company.

If you choose not to file a complaint, you can get the signature from your bank manager and submit the form to the PF office. After one month, you will receive your PF claim. If you need any further details, please let me know, and I will be happy to help you.

My name is Kavya. I have a question regarding the PF form submission. Is it possible to submit the PF withdrawal form in Bangalore instead of the Mumbai Bandra PF office?

As I've filled the PF withdrawal form on 11/12/2013 and submitted it to my office, Firstsource, in Bangalore. However, the form has not yet been forwarded to the PF office. When I contacted my office, they informed me that the PF office in Mumbai Bandra is not currently accepting new forms due to the financial year ending.

My PF account number is MH/BAN/46430/138992. Can you please provide me with assistance and information on this matter?
