I am having a doubt about Gratuity. My previous employer included Gratuity in my offer letter and salary bifurcation, and I worked there for 2 years. Since it is a part of the CTC, am I eligible to receive that amount?

Kindly advise me on this.

Thanks

Gratuity is not normally a part of CTC, but since it has not been paid and is mentioned in the salary bifurcation, you are eligible to receive that amount. You can claim it as part of your salary.

Understanding Gratuity

Gratuity is a gesture given by the employer to the employee for the service rendered continuously for 5 years. It is included as a part of the salary in your Salary Bifurcation, so indirectly, you are investing/saving from your salary for the employer's gesture, which can be availed after your tenure with the organization. This is only my opinion; let other seniors advise you legally.
