Circumstances for Basic Salary Reduction
Basic salary can be reduced under the following circumstances:
- You have changed employers.
- The salary/compensation structure is restructured in the same company.
- You have been demoted (lowering of the rank/grade) as a punishment.
- The company has made specific communication regarding cost containment measures due to economic reasons.
- There is an error.
