Sorry Brother,
It is real disheartening to read your message. How can you become a real professional, with CUT & PASTE attitude.
I suggest, please talk to your concerned HOD and get permission for atleast 15 days (extension) to submit your report. If the problems are genuine and your efforts are real, he / she will agree to this. Then, if you are working, please take leave for a week and then finish your work. You have the world at your feet with GOOGLE at fingertips.
By this you serve 2 purposes,
1. You are self satisfied and with High moral.
2. You set a right example for others.
I hope the entire fraternity of HR professionals are with me in this advice. And this is a fantastic group where you can get help in your research.
I know, you can pull it off, but still searching a EASY WAY out.
JUST DO IT .... the right way.
All the best.
Warm Regards,
Rajeev

I agree totally.
If you take option 'a', then forget about being an HR professional - this is the most unprofessional act possible. If you start on this road, then you will always look for the 'short cut' in all your activities - and end up without integrity, commitment or any honest pride in what you do.
So OK, you fail to submit your project in time and you have no excuse to give - then take the consequences - you deserve them; but this will teach you to plan better the next time, to be proactive instead of reactive, and this will make you a much better professional in future.
If you do have a genuine excuse for not submitting your project in time, explain the circumstances to your senior, and let your senior decide whether to give you the extra time to finish it. Be honest. Chances are you will be given an extension. And when you are given such an extension, plan your project in such a way that the end result will justify your senior's faith in you.

Dear Hr for HR Sir,
Pl guide me. When I see a contribution like your present one and I want to save only this, separately, how to go about. Adding the day's contributins in a 'hrnet' folder is what I have been doing so far;but that does not help me to refer to a specfic contribution straight away. Do you think I can save only one contribution out of the many contrbutions of a day?....Thanks....Shreyas

Hello Everybody
I remember once on this forum , I had mildly reprimanded student for not working on her project but asking members to give her some read to use material. I got a mail from the student saying I was being too highhanded .Knowledge is for sharing but this kind of a request must be totally ignored. Basically projects are valuable not for the marks but for the learning involved. And I personal believe that integrity is one trait which is essential for an effective HR person. Thanks to all those members who have rightly denied to help the student "cut , copy and paste".

Dear Hr for HR Sir,

I'll clarify.

When I open my email inbox, I find a mail from citeHr. I click it open and all the messages in a long sequence appear. On clicking the "more" button of a particular contrbution, the full write up (contribution by a site member) comes up.

My question is that when such write up is nice and I feel like saving it, what steps should I follow, so that only that write up is saved with its caption?

At the moment, I have no alternative but to save the whole citeHr email for the day. I have made a folder, named it "hrnet" and I move the whole message in that folder for future reference..

After some days if I want to refer to the writeup which I had liked, I have to go on opening all the emails of the folder, one by one, and keep scrolling down to find the one I am searchig. Sometimes, I have to search as many as almost ten days' citeHr emails. This takes time and is quite tedius; and I have to give up the search.

So how to save a specific contribution? That's my query.....Shreyas

Try saving the post link and description.
When u see any good message , go to the specific post and save it in a word file the link with the Topic of discussion so next time u can refer it very easily.
Or you can cut paste the contribution u like ,, in a word file with the topic heading.. post heading..

Dear Ruchita,
Please search CiteHr for threads started by me on Research Methodology (ppt slides attached) and MBA Project/Dissertations (a sample project on MBOs attached). I have also posted links to A Guide on MBA Projects.
It would also be useful if you could tell us where you are studying and in what mode. Have you done any literature survey to see what others have done, how and why that way? What data have you got? Did you collect the data based on an aim and objectives of your study?
Have a nice day.
