If any organization take exemption in EDLI Scheme & provide any other insurance benefit to their employee then company is liable to submit return in from 7 (IF).

Is it mandatory to submit the monthly EDLI return –Form 7If to RPFC every month for exempted employer when PF is online & also please suggest if your organization have exemption in EDLI scheme & your organisation has already submitted all required document to RPFC & CPFC for taking exemption(certificate) hard copy as per provision of EDLI Scheme,1976Under sec17(2A) of EPF&MP act,1952 but RPFC & CPFC not didn’t issue the EDLI exemption certificate to employer then what employer do in this condition ,kindly suggest what we can do for getting the same. & also inform you that if organisation had stopped the contribution (0.5%) in AC-21 (EDLI) without getting exemption certificate & submit the same contribution to LIC as a premium against EDLI exemption but without getting EDLI exemption certificate from RPFC & CPFC.

What penalty be impose for employer in this case while employer already submit all required document & stopped the contribution in A/C 21 in PF challan without getting exemption certificate. Please suggest & advice for the same ASAP.

yes it mandatory to submit the monthly EDLI return –Form 7If to RPFC every month for exempted employer, because it is EDLi return which confirm that you had taken exemption. If you had not received Exemption certificate then you can approach to EPF Office. If you had applied for the exemption then whatever date you has mention for exemption you are not required to pay 0.5% (A/c 22) from that day.

Thanks for your advice ,please suggest if you already exempted in EDLI scheme ,it is mandatory to pay inspection charges .005% in case of exemption in EDLI , if you pay the same then ,in which account you deposit the amount in PF challan.

Hi, When EPF office sent exemption order they clearly mention on that letter stated employer is liable to pay 0.01% or minimum 1 Rs. company will pay as a inspection charges in A/c 22.

Thanks for your reply ,as per your mail, we are already pay inspection charges .01% in A/C no.22 instead of .005% regularly .If it possible then can you provide me the scan copy of filled form 7(IF) & please explain point no.8(Iv) in form 7(IF) .

This is not a Return 7-IF of EDLI. Actually, it is Schedule which should be submitted by the organizations, who has taken exemption of EDLI from PF and maintaining the EDLI Account with LIC/GIC for Flat Cover. (Presently, max. Rs 1.30 lakh from PF)

What is the last date for submission of 7IF & IW1 to the PF authorities.
Some one is telling it 15th of every month and some says its 25th, it is possible kindly provide me the dates indicating the submission of returns.

We have required Proforma-1 for application of EDLI exemption.Kindly provide.
