1st and foremost, to do any sales business in KSA, knowing Arabic is an added advantage. Arabic is a plus and is given weightage whilst recruiting sales team.
2nd it does not matter with you are a BCom. MBA or PHD holder in marketing, at the end of day how much business you get will count and you will be rewarded accordingly. I personally know a Sales Manager who is only 8th pass (Arabic Indian) been in Saudi for last 33yrs and brings 1million SR orders per month for the company.
3rd, besides all above, you must have the maturity and knack of delaing with your boss, colleauges and a very close reliable relationship with your clients.
When you are a winner on all above, nobody can stop you from earning high for your efforts.
I suggest, though the salary seems bit at lower end but based on fresher, its fair. You need atleast 2/3yrs of solid ground experience in Saudi to command a Basic of 6000 and above. Howvever, if you can bring good business to your company, sky is the limit. I know expatriates and Saudi'd with just 5/6 ysr in Business take gome almost 25000SR per month.
