Dear all Im working in one of the Limited company in bangalore my gross salary is 10000 per month inluding allownces they are deducting 150 for professional tax so pls suggest im applicable to pay the PT or not And one more thing is they are deducting rs175 for ESI from last 4 months but still they not issued any kind of esi letter or esi card pls suggest what to do

Get the TIC from the HR personnal and get it signed by the authorized signatory. visit the ESic OFFICE FOR THE BIOMETRIC AND PIC clicked by them . You will get your card in a month. Regards Upasana

Dear Rangaswamaiah,
All employees,Whose gross salary ranges from 3000 onwards has to pay PT .There is a slab for different states of India.
For Karnataka, No PT for Gross Salary upto Rs.2999
Gross Salary PT
Rs.3000-4999 Rs.30/-
Rs.5000-7999 Rs.60/-
Rs.8000-9999 Rs.1000/-
Rs.10000-14999 Rs.150/-
Rs.15000 onwards Rs.200/-
ESI upto Rs.15000(Max Gross Salary)
Employe's Share-1.75%( From Gross)
Employer Share- 4.75%( -do-)
Both the calculation is compulsory by Govt to all employee for registered Company.

As soon as entered in the Muster roll, your name should be entered in ESI DECLARATION After entering ESI NO IS ALLOTTED Without ESI NO can not be remitted.so you approach HR & Demand esi card

Dear Rangaswamaiah,
TIC is Temporary Identity Certificate-the print which is given by HR dept.ESIC is online now and HR has its username and password, they will give you the printout which is called TIC which needs to be sign by authorized signatory. You have to go to the ESIC office to get the pic clcked by them with your family.
