I am one month short of completing 5 years since I purchased a flat a month ago. I was under the impression that I could apply for a loan from the provident fund after purchasing. However, they now inform me that I cannot apply for a loan after the purchase. Is there any guideline or circular regarding this issue? Are there any other ways to withdraw the amount from the provident fund? Please help.

Thank you, Eswaa (sorry, I don't know your name). I know this, but my question is whether I can apply for a home loan after the transaction is over (registration and all). When I checked with the finance department of my company, they said they can't give a loan if the registration is over. I wish to know if there is any rule stating that we will not get the loan after registration. Kindly reply.
