Hi, Dhana,
Surely , i'll Explain u.....Just read folllowing example :
Suppose a person have monthly income of 10,000,
then we can calculate his net salary as follows :
Basic : 5000 (50% of CTC)
HRA : 1000 (20% of Basic)
Con. Allowance : 100 (2% of Basic)
Edu. Allo. : 100 (2% of Basic)
PFP : 1927 (20% of CTC- Flexibal)
Medical : 200
Other : 500
so Employee's in hand amount will be :
Rs. 8827
other deductions are as follows :
PF - 12% of Basic
ESI - 1.75% OF GROSS
Bonus - 8.33 % of Basic......

Karthik,
Thanks for payslip attachment.
In that how you calculated special and other allowance
and for medi claim how you derived rs.200.
For gratuity will we have to take 4.87% of basic.
For employer contribution , is it PF is 12% but it is calculated on13.61 on basic.
Please clear my doubt.
thanks,
dhana

Medi Claim is Avg 200/Month if it is Individual policy with 100000/- Insurance Coverage.
Gratuity sorry it was error.
Minus from proposed gross to get exat gross because Convayance 800 & Medical reim 1250 are completely non taxable so we have to put these components.
For Tax calculation s the HRA will be considered 40% on Basic.

Karthik,
In this attachment there is no pf calculations for employee.
Another thing is for employer contribution the pf amount is 12% only but you calculated as 13.61 on basic.
Please clear my doubt.
thanks,
dhana

It varies from employer to employer most of the companies are exempting PF for above 6500 Basic salaried employees.
Employee Contribution 12% + Employer Contribution 12% +1.10% Administration Charges + 0.50% EDLI(Employee Deposit Linked Insurance) + 0.01% Administration Charges on EDLI.
Total : 12+12+1.10+0.5+0.01=25.61 Hence the employer contribution will be 13.61%.
