Im sick of my job.My boss blames me for stuff I dont even do.Yesterday before I left work I made sure I did all my stuff that I was suppose to do before I left. Then today he goes up to me and says "oh how come you didnt do such and such, and I told him "hey you know I did do everything I was suppose to do" Hes just assuming things about me that isnt even true.I felt so bad at work,I broke down with a anxiety attack crying. And it felt ;like I could not breathe good after this happened. He had no right saying I didnt do my work cause I made darn sure I did before I left.So I told another person at work about it they are going to have a talk with him.I hope they do cause its what he needs.I get frustrated when he keeps looking over at me when Im working.Plus he walks back and forth when Im trying to do my work and makes me uncomfortable. He just went and started on me for no reason at all and I know I did what I was suppose to do.He knows I made the right amount, hes just starting on me for no reason.Hes just being a jerk.A big one!

There are TWO things that you must be aware of and should be doing in your office -
1) Communication Via email, and
2) Daily Reports
Send an email to your boss for every task that has been assigned to you. At the end of a day, send a report of your boss, highlighting all the tasks that were assigned to you and completed by you.
This will help you. Those companies that work on the basis of oral communication, attracts lots of chaos and disruption.

Hi Trupti,

It is unfortunate that such difficult bosses are a reality.

Hope you have considered the suggestions given in the mails above.

Perhaps you can calmly think from your side what you can do.

You have poured out your emotions. That is good to let off the steam.

But the fact of the matter is many such people exist and they trouble

us in one way or other. It is upto us to find out a solution.

A bit of preparation from your side on how you take these things is very important.

Please see the thread (ppt) posted by Colonel Jude Mayne and follow the thread.

The above thread reference has come in Cite Communities letter today also(4 sep 2012).

Try to read Stephen Covey's book on Seven Habits.

Many concise presentations on Seven Habits are available in Cite HR.

Every day go to work with a strong resolve of the mind.

"I will be questioned but I will not crumble and I will face it boldly."

Keep telling this to yourself to build up your confidence.

Make sure that you are firm and assertive but not fight.

You can also go through a gamut of postings on 'reaction' and "responses".

Hope you will get better after going through the postings as above.

Dear
It is part & parcel of the system. Some works hard & others takes ...
It is seen that you are in stress & the situation speaks about the burn out condition. Plz make yourself comfortable & ventilate your feelings with others (family members especially)
Share a status report with him ( if you feel that you are not communicated the progress report with your boss) & ensure yourself that this kind of mistake will not happen once again (dnt repeat mistakes once again if you wish to continue in the same capacity). Try to normalize the situation & this could be done by you as you know him better than other (Establish interaction with him)
Remember, you will be more perfectionist at work if you have boss like him////
Last option - If not then, Change the organization / location

While doing job always remember that "Survival of the fittest". Leaving of the job is not solution on the problem. Think positive that you are obtaining experience by rude behaviour of your boss.
Remove the thought of leaving the job & face him.

Dear Pretti,
Try your best to accept your boss as he is. He is a MAN with many weaknesses and, like you, many responsibilities and bosses to answer to also. Forgive him for his weaknesses; forgiving is much better than anything else.
Of course you have the right to fight back. To fight back, or rather to resolve the situation, is first to ask your ownself, 'is it me?', that is it could be some of my mistakes or misbehaviours that had initiated that kind of response or attitude from your boss.
Then it is best to approach him and talk, but approach with love of a human to another, without blaming attitude, and with forgiving thoughts and high respect. I believe only then things can change for the best.

Dear Tirupati,
There seems to be some thing amiss between you and the boss. Please have one to one discussions with him on the following issues:
a. his expectations and your commitment to meet them; and
b. tactfully convey your loyalty to him.
Please do not get emotional, things deteriorate in that manner. Try to digest some hard stuff as well, it is a part of the game.
Please try other suggestions like mail him a status report of jobs assigned by him to you, but I fear it may not boom rang on you, the person getting an impression that you are trying to trap him. Further, I have seen bosses who still try to rub the subordinate, anyway.
Good luck.
