I have a doubt about the PF account and ESI. When an employee is working in a particular local private limited company, according to the acts, ESI and PF will be enrolled in that specific state. If he changes to another company in a different state, will he be able to continue his previous PF and ESI benefits in the new job within the government limits of the second state?

Thank you.

Hi, Ya of course ESI & PF is an central act and can be transfered from one state to another. Regards, Nitesh Jain.

Yes, both Acts maintain centralized guidelines, so don't worry about this. (P.F.) If any employee transfers from one state to another, you just need to transfer their account using a specific form.

For ESIC, if your employees have an ESIC smart card, they can avail facilities anywhere in India. The only change will be the panel doctor.
