Hi,
I would like to know the following regarding the deployment of contract labour (on the organization where Central rules applies):
1. Effect not taking labour licence by principal employer , even contractor are registered in Labour Dept. when he was in other organization and licence in valid.
2. On change of principal employer by contractor , is it mandatory to intimate to labour dept? In this condition is he required to take new registration from labour dept under new principal employer.
3. How much penalty can be imposed on non-registering principal employer in labour dept.
4. Contractor registered in State Labour Dept may work in the organization where Central rule applies.
Please help me regarding the above
Thanks & Regards

From the above points ,some answers stated as below...
Principle Employer is requires to get his organization registered under Contract Labour.
The PE then can give work to contractor by issuing form V for labour license registration.
If contractor changes PE then contractor is required to get fresh labour license

If one contractor deploying labours for different-2 organizations i.e. more than one PE, he has to take separate license for all organization (PEs) or one common license can be taken for deploying contract labour in all different organizations
Thx & Regards

Is it possible one contractor may take any general licence to work with more than one PEs i.e. few months with one PE and few other months another PE or may work with both.
Can any contractor may get Labour License without any Form V from PE?
